The project

The McKinnons came to us in spring 2025 after their gas+electric combined bills crossed £3,400/year. With four teenagers in the house and an EV-curious driver, a solar+battery+pre-wired-EV-charger combination made obvious sense. Survey, MCS-spec quote, HES loan application, install — done in 38 days from first call.

We specced 8kWp JA Solar across the south-facing rear roof + a small east return. EcoFlow PowerOcean 10kWh battery in the integral garage. Pre-wired Type 2 socket for the future Tesla.
