What is ECO vs ECO4 vs ECO Flex? +

ECO is the umbrella scheme. ECO4 is the current phase. ECO Flex (LA Flex) is the local authority referral route for households who don't hit the standard benefits criteria but are still fuel-poor.

Can I get ECO funding for solar? +

In some ECO4 packages, yes — usually combined with ASHP or insulation. Solar-only ECO funding is rarer.

Which suppliers fund ECO? +

The large licensed suppliers (British Gas, EDF, E.ON, Octopus, OVO, ScottishPower, Shell). Customer choice of supplier doesn't affect eligibility — the scheme is collectively funded.

How do I know if I qualify? +
