Phase 2 — Project development & construction
Once feasibility is approved, our project development team takes the design from concept to commissioning.
Project development covers everything from accepted feasibility to commissioned-and-handed-over asset. We work with planning authorities where needed, submit and chase the G99 application with SP Energy Networks or SSEN, procure Tier-1 panels and inverters, and manage construction with our in-house team plus vetted MCS-certified trade partners — every milestone signed off by an Ecoaim engineer.
Typical timeline: 3-9 months depending on scale and G99 queue. We publish a detailed programme at kick-off and report against it weekly.
Whichever phase you are at, the underlying engineering is set out in full on our commercial solar companies page — 30-500kWp+ sizing against half-hourly demand, the roof-type mounting matrix, the G99 route, and the CapEx / lease / PPA comparison we build into every fixed-price feasibility study. Where a building's fabric is the bigger loss, we will point you at the roof insulation types that cut demand first.
