Loft, cavity, solid wall and room-in-roof insulation for Scottish homes
Insulation is the highest-ROI energy efficiency upgrade for most Scottish properties — it cuts the heat you lose before you spend anything on generating more. We co-ordinate insulation with solar and heat pump installs.
Most Scottish housing stock benefits from insulation before solar or ASHP — improving the fabric of the building before electrifying. A leaky house needs a larger, more expensive heat pump and burns more of your own generation on space heating, so fabric-first is almost always the cheaper order of work.
Home Energy Scotland funds insulation directly: up to £7,500 grant plus a £2,500 interest-free loan for solid wall, and up to £1,500 grant plus a £500 loan for loft, cavity and underfloor. The loan is 0% interest but carries a 1.5% administration fee capped at £150 per application.
We work with PAS-2030-accredited insulation partners and handle survey, measure selection and the funding paperwork end-to-end.
